It was created by Anais Munoz, graduate of the Baking & Pastry Management program. I was at a meeting recently at Valencia College, where a member of the Board of Trustees introduced a cookie created in honor of the college.
A graduate of Valencia who runs a sweets shop near the Kissimmee campus made the “Valencia College” cookie, which everybody at the meeting got a chance to sample. I broke my diet to try one after I heard it was made with candied orange zest, macadamia nuts and dried coconut. Anyway, you can drop by Breck’s Gourmet Cookies in downtown Kissimmee if you’d like to try out the culinary handiwork of former student Anais Munoz.
Munoz, 20, says she plans to sell the cookie in her shop at least one day a week, starting either this week or next week. You can also order a batch ahead of time by calling 407-846-3044."
